Our mission is to help at least one million people globally through our network of HUBS positioned in every suburb, town, city and country. We are not government or privately funded. Liz has been working with people with disabilities for over 30 years. She started teaching children with severe physical disabilities how to rock climb and white water kayak.
She has continued to work in education, psychology, and communication. Worked for the Ministry of Education as a Behavioural and Communication Specialist, as a specialist teacher for a private elementary school for children with disabilities in the USA, and more recently as a course director, lecturer, and adjunct lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington, Massey University and the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand. She also worked at the International Conflict Resolution Center in Melbourne, Australia.
She has also conducted and published peer-reviewed research on Neuro-Processing Disorders in Children, Biopsychosocial models of educational practice, international relationships, Online Dispute Resolution, and interpersonal communication.
Apart from her academic background, she is also a highly competitive person who has always loved the outdoors. She has been an outdoor pursuits guide, New Zealand Surf Lifesaving Instructor, NZ Swimming Instructor, and running coach
She was a Wellington City Council referee for indoor soccer, wheelchair basketball, junior Basketball, and Volleyball. She was a nationally competitive Swimmer, Track Sprinter, and Surf lifesaver until MS stopped her physically (unknown then) at the age of 21. Looking back her first symptoms started when she was 14 years old.
Present Day
For the past 4 years, she has been training towards her goal of the 2024 and 2028 Paralympics where she competes in Paracycling both on the road and track.
For the past year, Liz has been traveling around the world competing in selection events at 4 World Cup events in Canada, Italy, Belgium, and the USA. In August 2023. Liz represented New Zealand and the USA in the Cycling World Championships in Scotland.

When you join my HUB, you will receive an invite to weekly HUB sessions. These sessions are 40-Minutes in duration and cover exceptional life skills lessons with tools you can use to negotiate whatever you may be facing in life. Whilst we encourage participation, we know that you might just want to remain anonymous, that's ok too. Importantly, the sessions are free and will always be free and you can come and go as you please.

In late 2022, the Mental Health Reform initiative by the World Health Organization (WHO) proposed a significant overhaul of mental health services. The recommendation is to shift towards community-based mental health care, expanding beyond the confines of the health sector. You have the opportunity to be an active participant in this transformation by joining our community-based Neuro Health Project. You can apply to become a Neuro Health Practitioner and take on a leadership role as a HUB Leader. Join us in shaping the future of mental health care.
